Ride the Greenway's accessible carousel in Boston, featuring native New England animals inspired by children's drawings. Birthday celebrations take place in a private, roped-off party area; the carousel itself remains open to the public. The published $350 birthday package includes 1.5 hours in the reserved area, 12 non-transferable unlimited-ride wristbands for children or adults, four tables with chairs and umbrellas seating 16, and a designated host to help with setup, decorating, and cleanup. Optional extras include $15 additional wristbands, $25 extra tables with chairs and umbrellas, and $50 per extra half hour, subject to availability. Book through the official party page or email Carousel@rosekennedygreenway.org. A $100 non-refundable deposit reserves the date; the remaining balance is paid on the party day. Parties are scheduled during carousel operating hours, and setup can begin 30 minutes before the party. Check current availability and pricing before booking. Bring prepared food and cake, but no alcohol or food that needs onsite preparation or warming. No balloons, music, or amplified sound are allowed; outside entertainers require written approval. For weather-related rescheduling, contact the Conservancy at least 48 hours ahead; the deposit applies to the rescheduled date. The carousel typically operates in light rain.
