Harpoon's big Seaport beer hall has long picnic tables with plenty of room for coloring books, plus famously good fresh pretzels with dipping sauces. It's an easy, relaxed stop after the Boston Children's Museum nearby. Note: the beer hall is 21+ on Saturdays, so plan a weekday or Sunday visit with kids.
