Spooky Storytime with Cynthia Centerbar at Hummingbird Books
Saturday, October 24, 2026, 11:00 AM · Hummingbird Books · Chestnut Hill
Settle in for a gently spooky reading of Poor Farm Meadow with author and illustrator Cynthia Centerbar. This children's Halloween tale combines a neighborhood mystery with a little colonial history; the organizer describes it as spooky rather than scary. The author is visiting on both October 24 and 25, with a separate storytime beginning at 11 AM each day. No RSVP is required. An end time is not published. Admission pricing for the extra Saturday reading is not stated; check with the bookstore.
