Sensory-Friendly Sunday at USS Constitution Museum

Sunday, November 15, 2026, 9:00 AM · USS Constitution Museum · Charlestown

Explore the USS Constitution Museum before it opens to the public during a quieter, less crowded morning for visitors of all ages and their families, friends, and caregivers. Exhibit sounds are lowered or turned off, flashing lights are removed, the LEGO Shipyard becomes a quiet room, and sensory resources such as fidgets, noise-reducing headphones, weighted shoulder wraps, and sunglasses are available to borrow. Registration is required and limited to 35 people. Admission is by donation. The separately operated USS Constitution ship opens at 10 AM without special sensory modifications.

  • Where: USS Constitution Museum, Building 22, Charlestown Navy Yard
