Winter Wonders at North River
Friday, December 18, 2026, 4:00 PM · North River Wildlife Sanctuary — Nature Center · Marshfield
Something is always happening in the winter woods. You just need to know where to look. On this guided family walk, explore frosty trails in search of animal tracks, winter berries, signs of wildlife activity, and whatever other surprises the season has left behind. A naturalist leads the way, helping younger explorers make sense of what they're seeing and connecting the dots between winter wildlife and the changing landscape. Snow or shine, there's always something worth discovering. For families with children ages 0–17. Advance registration is required for this individual session. Adult Members $15; Adult Nonmembers $18; Child Members $15; Child Nonmembers $18. Meet in the Nature Center. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for up to 1.5 miles of uneven terrain. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire program.
