Harwich COASTSWEEP Cleanup & Costume Contest
Saturday, October 24, 2026, 9:00 AM · Saquatucket Harbor — Volunteer Meeting Point · Harwich
Turn a fall morning into a chance to care for Cape Cod’s shoreline. Meet at Saquatucket Harbor to collect pickers, gloves and bags, then head to the beach or pond site you chose at signup. Volunteers return with collected litter and can pick up Halloween treats; the best costume wins a prize. Saturday, October 24, 9–11 AM. The meeting point is Saquatucket Harbor, 715 Main Street in Harwich Port—not your chosen cleanup beach. Select an available cleanup location on the linked signup form before attending. The organizers do not publish an age minimum or admission price. Families should choose a site and conditions suitable for their children and check with the organizers about young volunteers. Coordinated by Harwich Conservation Trust, Harwich Conservation Department and Harwich Natural Resources Department.
