Fall Festive Goat Hike + Apple Cider Whoopie Pies. Duration 1 Hour. About Join us for a stroll in the woods, with goats of all ages with some on leads and some roaming free, as we hike through the farm’s woods. Embark on a woodland adventure with our charming adult fainting goats, exploring the farm's scenic woods. These events may feature a delightful meet & greet with various farm animals, including chickens, horses, goats, llamas, sheep, and dogs, among others. Themes will add an extra layer of excitement to some events. Indulge in feeding the goats treats that as we walk and share fascinating insights about goats and farm life. The walk spans about an hour and a little over a mile round-trip, navigating snowy, icy, gravel and hilly terrain at a goat pace – sometimes fast, sometimes slow. In case of adverse trail conditions, we'll take an alternate route down a side street. Location: Goats To Go at Great Rock Farm, 201 Pond St Georgetown, MA. Bring/Wear: Please bring/wear appropriate shoes and clothes for the farm, ensuring you don't mind a little dirt. Conditions may be muddy, wet, or snowy/icy, so come prepared. This all-outdoor event is not heated, and bathroom facilities are limited. To enhance your comfort, refrain from bringing large bags, strollers, baby carriers, or outside animals. All attendees need to be able to walk unassisted for at least a mile. Depending on conditions, consider bringing your own snowshoes or other snow traction for your boots. Your readiness ensures an enjoyable and worry-free experience at our farm event. Tickets Children ages 5-11 are welcome with adult participation, and each attendee must have a ticket regardless of age. Tickets are non-refundable, and we reserve the right to reschedule if necessary due to weather or other circumstances. In the event of rescheduling, alternate dates or vouchers for future hikes will be provided. Please note that advanced registration is required. Goat treats will be provided during check-in to enhance your experience on the hike. NOTE: 2025/2026 Season September to mid-May. Privates are based on up to 15 people, additional fees apply for more people, headcounts and final payments due 2 weeks prior to event via email to greatrockfarm@gmail.com. Hikes are hosted from late-September to mid-May. Hikes may only open for registration approx. 1-2 weeks in advance. Or posted as Pop-up events a couple days in advance. Booking-calendar session: 2:30 PM–3:30 PM. Advance online registration is required; the farm is open by appointment only. Every attendee needs a ticket. Current session pricing was not available from the public schedule; check checkout before booking.
