CraneOutdoors: Dunes by the Light of the Full Moon

Older kids and teens who are comfortable hiking 2–3 miles can join a guided sunset walk along Crane Beach and continue through the dunes after dark. This is the longer, brisker full-moon option for ages 12+; families with younger children may prefer the separate CraneExplorer hike. Bring water, dress for the weather and consider a flashlight. Member $24; nonmember $30 (the organizer does not list a separate child rate). Register in advance: bookings close 24 hours before the hike, with no walk-ins or on-site ticket sales. The exact meeting spot will be emailed about 24 hours beforehand. Ticket availability may change; check the registration link before heading out.
