Halloween Spooktacular at Boston Children’s Museum
Saturday, October 24, 2026, 5:00 PM · Boston Children’s Museum · Seaport
The Museum opens after hours for a Halloween evening of exhibit exploring and trick-or-treating. Families can play Pumpkin Putt-Putt and other games, dance to a DJ, find their way through a spiderweb maze, meet the Sanderson Sisters, or catch a creepy-crawly animal presentation. PlaySpace has a Little’s Pumpkin Patch reserved for children under 3. Allergy-friendly trick-or-treat options and special Boo Bags for children 3 and younger are planned. Costumes are welcome, with a contest that includes a spookiest-costume category; some activities may be intense for sensitive children, and the Museum does not advertise a sensory-friendly session. Saturday, October 24, 5–8 PM. This is a separate after-hours event, not included with daytime admission: advance tickets are required. Early “BOO” tickets are $25 per person October 1–16; tickets are $30 per person after October 16. The Museum links to its ticket store from the event page; the Museum has not published a member discount or infant exemption for this special ticket.
