Stage Fort Park

Playgrounds & Parks · Gloucester

Stage Fort Park is a 60-acre Gloucester gem packed with everything little ones love — a huge pirate-ship playground, two family-friendly beaches, and rocky outcrops with old cannons begging to be climbed. Half Moon Beach is a sheltered cove perfect for early swimmers, while Cressy's Beach is great for tide pooling and sea-glass hunting. Spread out a picnic blanket, fly a kite on the open lawns, or grab a snack at the seasonal cafe near the visitor center. Paid parking in season; dogs welcome on leash but not on the beaches May 1–Sept 15.
